what is supported independent living?
Supported Independent Living, or SIL, is a helpful service designed to empower you to live as independently as possible in your own home, shared living or in one of our SDA properties. Our support workers provide tailored assistance with daily tasks, personal care, and skill development, making everyday life more manageable and enjoyable. SIL is all about fostering your independence and helping you thrive in your community!
what is Specialist disability accommodation?
Specialist Disability Accommodation, or SDA, is about providing specially designed homes for people with significant and complex disabilities. These homes are built with your unique needs in mind, ensuring that your living environment is both safe and comfortable. SDA is all about creating an inclusive and accessible space for you to live independently. SDA can be combined with SIL (supported independent living) so that you're surrounded by the right day to day support, making it easier for you to live life to the fullest.
